System General Unveils New Manual Programming System
|
| |
Taipei, Taiwan, September 9, 2005 - System General, a leading provider of device programming instruments, announced the release of the T8000 series manual programming system. The T8000 is setting a trend for low cost, high performance products, making it an ideal solution for small and medium size production lines.
ˇ§System General's product design philosophy is constantly seeking ways to increase productivity while reducing cost,ˇ¨ says Tom Yang, CEO of System General. ˇ§The T8000 is optimized for small and medium capacity ICs and it fully supports devices such as Flash, MCU, EPROM, and EEPROM. It easily scales to meet customers' needs in increasing productivity and reducing cost.ˇ¨
High speed programming capability
The T8000 series uses T9600's HSP(High Speed Programming)core technology for high speed programming ability. T8000 series are equipped with 288 universal pin drivers in order to fully support NOR, NAND Flash, and other micro controllers. According to the latest benchmark releases by major semi-houses, the 9600 is the fastest universal programming system available, able to download large files in seconds through its USB interface.
Lowering production costs
To offer customers the highest programming flexibility and the lowest possible programming cost, the T8000 series integrates four 9600 programmer modules into a single platform, offering four independent programming sites, up to 16 sockets. The unique hardware architecture narrows the operating space and doubles the productivity in each workstation. Additionally, operators will avert errors and ensure quality through the user-friendly interface.
Supports asynchronous programming
The highly integrated T8000 series provides several features to enhance the performance of device programming. For example, the T8000 series supports asynchronous programming modules through new software and hardware interface development, completely avoiding device programming interruptions when fail messages occur. Additionally, such support reduces operation standby time when the operator chooses devices from programming sites. Such benefits increase the operating efficiency and ease of control for production quality.
Supports serial code programming
The support of serial code programming is managed by ESP(External Serialization Programming)and BSD(Batch Serial Data)easily proceeding to the complicated task of serial number code without code length and space saving limitations. Additional checksum Compare function uses to double-check data in order to increase the accuracy of the programming operation.
