|
| |
June 29, 2004, Taipei, Taiwan - System General, a leading provider of power management ICs, today announced, in response to a lawsuit filed this Monday by Power Integrations, that all of its products are developed using its own patented technologies.
System General strongly refutes the accusation of patent infringement. ˇ§We respect intellectual property rights and are continually developing new technologies and winning patents for them, ˇ§ said Tom Yang, CEO and founder of SG. ˇ§Patent violation is the last thing we would stoop to.ˇ¨
Throughout the years, System General has received thirty eight patents worldwide including twenty three US patents. And more than two dozens patent applications are currently pending. System General is currently undertaking legal action to counter the patent infringement lawsuit from Power Integrations.
