The T9600 Universal Programming System Supports the Intel® PXA26x Processor Family
Taipei, October 15, 2003 - System General announced today that it's expanding coverage on its T9600 universal programmer to include support for Intel® PXA261, PXA262 and PXA263 devices.
Intel PXA26x devices are multi-chip products comprising an Intel® XScale ® technology based processor with integrated peripherals, and stacked with either one or two 128-Mbit 3-Volt Synchronous Intel StrataFlash® memory (28F128K3) chips. The PXA261 has 128-Mbits of K3 Flash and the PXA262 has 256-Mbits of K3 Flash, both in 16-bit-wide configuration. The PXA263 has 256-Mbits of K3 Flash in 32-bit-wide configuration.
System General is extremely proud to be the first production programmer vendor to add support for these devices. The T9600 is an excellent solution for quickly programming Intel PXA26x devices. With the TFBGA294-Dalhart-OT Socket Board, the T9600 can support the entire Intel PXA26x processor series.
Programming the entire 256-Mbits of Flash memory in the PXA263 device takes only 85.6 seconds. This is fast enough to enable mass production, and meet the needs of PDA and mobile phone manufacturers for high-speed, high-yield programmable equipment.
With ultra-fast programming performance and USB download times, the T9600 continues to deliver low programming costs and high programming yields. The T9600 is available for both automatic and manual production.
