Taipei,
Taiwan, June 17, 2005 –System General, a leading
provider of device programming instruments, today
announced that its automated and manual programming
systems, now fully support the MAX II CPLD –
the EPM240/G, EPM570G and EPM1270/G. Furthermore,
additional support for the EPM2210 will shortly be
announced.
The Altera’s MAX II devices are able to drive
cost and power improvements to higher densities, enabling
designers to use MAX ? devices in place of higher-cost
or more powerful ASSPs and standard logic devices.
This development enables a high level of function
integration to reduce system design costs. It is suitable
for various applications in communication, computer,
industry, consumer electronics products, and automobile
fields.
“System General’s programming instruments
provide rapid support and low-cost programming solutions.
In order to reach customers’ current and future
requirements, we will continually deliver new support
for new devices.” said Alex Yang, Director of
the Instrument Business Division.
System General was the first programmer company to
pioneer High-Speed Programming (HSP) technology for
flash memory. With ultra-fast programming algorithms
and a USB interface, System General will continue
to provide low-cost and efficient solutions.
